FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
What is included in your window cleaning service?
Our full window cleaning service can include the glass, frames, sills, tracks, and screens. We offer both interior and exterior cleaning and can tailor the service to what your windows actually need.
Do you clean both inside and outside windows?
Yes. We offer exterior-only cleaning as well as complete interior and exterior window cleaning for homes and businesses.
Do you clean window frames and sills?
Yes. Frames and sills can be cleaned as part of our complete window cleaning service. We don't believe clean glass looks its best surrounded by dirty frames.
Do you clean window tracks?
Yes. Track cleaning is available for customers who want a more detailed window cleaning service.
Do you clean window screens?
Yes. We clean window screens and can remove interior-mounted screens when needed. Additional charges may apply depending on the type of screen and the amount of work involved.
What is pure water window cleaning?
Our pure water system filters ordinary water to remove minerals and impurities. We then use water-fed poles and specialized brushes to scrub the glass and frames before rinsing them with purified water.
Because the water contains virtually no minerals, it dries naturally without leaving the spots ordinary tap water can leave behind.
Why do you use water-fed poles?
Water-fed poles allow us to safely clean many exterior windows from the ground while still thoroughly scrubbing and rinsing the glass and frames. This is particularly useful for second-story windows and difficult-to-reach areas.
Do you still use traditional squeegees?
Yes. Pure water isn't the right tool for every situation. We also use professional squeegees and traditional window cleaning methods when they're better suited to the job.
Do you clean second-story windows?
Yes. We regularly clean first and second-story windows using professional equipment. We generally limit our services to buildings of three stories or less.
Do you remove hard water stains from windows?
Yes. We offer mineral and hard water stain removal when the glass can be safely restored.
Hard water removal is different from regular window cleaning and may require additional restoration work, so it is priced separately.
Can you remove paint, stickers, caulk, or construction debris from glass?
Yes. We offer post-construction and restoration cleaning for windows with materials such as paint, stickers, adhesive, caulk, and other construction debris.
Because removing bonded debris can require specialized tools and additional time, this work is quoted separately from normal window cleaning.
Do you clean newly installed or post-construction windows?
Yes. We provide post-construction and post-remodel window cleaning. These windows usually require more detailed work than routine window cleaning, so additional charges may apply.
Do you clean residential and commercial properties?
Yes. We provide professional window cleaning for both homes and businesses.
Our commercial work includes offices, professional buildings, medical and dental offices, dealerships, retail properties, storefronts, and other low-rise commercial buildings.
Do you clean high-rise buildings?
No. We specialize in homes and low-rise commercial properties rather than high-rise window cleaning.
How much does window cleaning cost?
The price depends on the number and type of windows, what you would like cleaned, their condition, accessibility, and whether additional services are required.
We provide free estimates so you'll know the price before scheduling the work.
Is there a minimum charge?
Yes. Minimum service charges apply. This helps cover the travel, equipment, setup, and operating costs involved in sending a professional window cleaning service to your property.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. We provide free estimates with no obligation to book.
For larger or more complicated jobs, we may recommend an on-site estimate so we can accurately assess the windows and provide the correct price.
Do you offer regular maintenance window cleaning?
Yes. We offer maintenance cleaning for customers who want their windows professionally cleaned throughout the year.
Regular cleaning also helps prevent pollen, mold, mildew, dirt, and mineral deposits from becoming heavily established on the windows and frames.
How often should I have my windows cleaned?
It depends on your property and surroundings. Many customers choose cleaning every 3, 6, or 12 months.
Homes surrounded by trees, landscaping, irrigation, pollen, or high humidity may benefit from more frequent cleaning.
Why should I have my windows cleaned regularly?
Regular cleaning isn't just about appearance. Dirt, pollen, mold, mildew, minerals, and other contaminants can gradually build up on glass, frames, tracks, and screens.
Routine maintenance keeps your windows looking better and can reduce the amount of heavy cleaning required later.
Can you clean windows with mold or mildew around them?
Yes. Florida's heat and humidity can encourage mold, mildew, algae, and organic buildup around exterior windows and frames.
Our cleaning methods can remove normal exterior buildup and help restore the appearance of the windows and surrounding frames.
Can you clean windows affected by sprinkler water?
Yes. Sprinklers are a common cause of spotting and mineral buildup on Florida windows.
Normal spotting may come off during cleaning, while established mineral deposits may require a separate hard water restoration treatment.
Will my windows stay clean after it rains?
Usually, yes. Rain itself isn't normally what makes professionally cleaned windows dirty.
Problems are more commonly caused by dirt, pollen, minerals, debris, and contaminants already on the glass or surrounding surfaces. Properly cleaned exterior windows generally continue to look good after normal rainfall.
Do I need to be home while you clean my windows?
Not necessarily. For exterior-only services, we can often complete the work without you being home as long as we have safe access to the windows and any necessary gates or water connections.
Someone will normally need to provide access when interior window cleaning is scheduled.
Do I need to prepare anything before you arrive?
For interior cleaning, moving small or fragile items away from windows is helpful. We may also need access to window areas that are blocked by furniture or other belongings.
For exterior cleaning, please make sure we can safely access gates and the areas surrounding the windows.
