Window Cleaning Service Agreement

By verbally authorizing, scheduling, confirming, or otherwise agreeing to have Sam's Window Cleaning Service Inc. (“SWC”) perform work at your property, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following terms.

Service & Property Access

The customer agrees to provide reasonable access to the property, including access to a working outdoor water supply and electricity when required.

SWC will perform the services agreed upon with the customer. Services outside the agreed scope, including restoration work, excessive buildup, hard-water removal, construction debris removal, scraping, or other additional work, may require additional time and charges.

Payment is due upon completion unless another arrangement has been approved by SWC.

Scheduling & Cancellations

Customers should provide at least 24 hours' notice when canceling or rescheduling an appointment. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made within 24 hours may be subject to a $50 cancellation fee.

Service dates may be adjusted when weather, safety, property conditions, or other circumstances reasonably prevent or interfere with the scheduled work.

Maintenance Plans & Return Cleaning Rates

Regular maintenance schedules are typically every 3 months, 6 months, or 12 months, although other frequencies may be agreed upon. Maintenance intervals should not normally exceed 12 months.

The standard window-cleaning rates are:

• Maintenance cleaning: $75 per hour

• Out-of-maintenance cleaning: $85 per hour

Customers with previously agreed or grandfathered pricing may retain that pricing while they remain eligible under their existing arrangement.

A customer may be considered out of maintenance if a maintenance program is discontinued, more than 12 months have passed since the previous cleaning, or the customer changes to an “I'll call when I'm ready” arrangement.

Being out of maintenance does not guarantee service at the $85 hourly rate. Depending on the condition of the property, time since the previous service, changes in scope, or company policy, SWC may require a new estimate before performing additional work.

SWC is solely responsible for determining whether a returning customer qualifies for the maintenance rate, out-of-maintenance rate, an existing grandfathered rate, another agreed rate, or requires a new estimate.

Customers are encouraged to contact SWC when their maintenance needs or scheduling circumstances change so that both parties can appropriately address the change.

Other Contractors & Workers

Other contractors or workers at the property—including landscapers, lawn services, painters, construction workers, pressure washers, and similar trades—may interfere with window-cleaning services.

If their activities delay SWC, prevent access, contaminate areas already cleaned, require work to be repeated, or otherwise increase the time required to complete the job, the customer may be responsible for the additional time.

Other contractors and persons at the property should not handle, move, use, or interfere with SWC equipment. If equipment is damaged, lost, misplaced, or stolen as a result of such interference, the property owner may be responsible for reasonable repair or replacement costs and additional time resulting from the incident.

Damage Waiver

The customer acknowledges that SWC is not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing defects or deteriorated conditions, including damaged or brittle screens, loose frames or glazing, failing seals, windows or screens that are painted or stuck in place, improperly installed components, pre-existing scratches, or similar conditions.

Glass Fines, Scraping & Manufactured Glass

Some manufactured glass may contain microscopic particles or fabrication debris, sometimes referred to as glass fines, on or embedded in the glass surface.

Paint, caulking, concrete, construction debris, artillery fungus, adhesives, and other bonded contaminants may require the reasonable use of a professional razor or scraper for removal.

Where glass contains pre-existing manufacturing defects or fabricating debris, scraping may dislodge those particles and cause scratching. The customer acknowledges this risk and agrees that SWC is not responsible for scratching attributable to a pre-existing manufacturing defect or fabricating debris rather than negligent workmanship by SWC.

Tint, film, adhesive, and similar materials may also require scraping and carry an increased risk of revealing or causing damage associated with pre-existing glass conditions.

SWC reserves the right to stop or decline any procedure that it reasonably determines presents an unacceptable risk of property damage or injury.

Acceptance of Terms

By verbally authorizing, scheduling, confirming, or otherwise agreeing to have Sam's Window Cleaning Service Inc. perform work at your property, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to this Window Cleaning Service Agreement and its applicable terms, policies, pricing provisions, and damage waiver.
